Mgr. Iva Petříčková, MSc. M.A.

Iva studied international relations at the University, and development studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In the past, she has worked as the office manager of MEP and as an event manager for the Forum 2000 Foundation founded by Vaclav Havel. She has also worked for the Department of Development Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ADRA organization, and the energy company, GDF Suez.

In the area of ​​CSR, Iva is dedicated to the influence of corporate social responsibility on competitiveness and company’s reputation. She is also interested in the impact of CSR on the economic and social development of developing countries.

In her spare time, Iva likes to organize meetings with friends.

Why work in the BLF?

I believe in the concept of corporate social responsibility, because business is not just a way of creating a profit, but a tool to create a good society, a healthy environment, and a good sense of properly utilized „entrusted talents.“

Ing. Vladimíra Bendová

Vladimira graduated from the University of Finance and Administration, majoring in marketing communication. In the past, she co-worked with the CSR Manager of ABB Ltd., Magdalena Steiner. In the field of CSR, she is most interested in the stakeholder’s dialogue, diversity in the workplace, and the reconciliation of personal and work life. She is also into spreading CSR in academia.

In the BLF, she is in charge of finance and education projects – Shading managers, CSR Ambassadors, and master classes. In her spare time, Vladmira likes to take care of her puppy, Emma. She also enjoys listening to music, dancing, rafting, and hiking.

Why work in the BLF?

Working in the BLF enables me to participate in the development of responsible behavior within the Czech business environment.

Tomáš Václavíček

Thomas studies Economics at the University of Economics in Prague. He is primarily interested in the topic of capital markets, behavioral economics, and the economics of labor markets. He is active in the fields of investment and is also co-author of “E-Millionaire or How to Invest (Not Only) in Gold”

The concept of CSR spoke to him during high school in Colorado. The BLF will now coordinate cooperation in international projects and is dedicated to financial management.Thomas likes discussion about social and economic issues. His hobbies include fencing, shooting, dancing, cycling, and skiing.

Why work in the BLF?

The issue of CSR is very close to me because I care about the long-term effects of our actions on others. As an active investor, I would also like to bring this issue to the attention of players in the financial markets.

Parth Shah

Parth is currently studying at New York University in its Prague location, pursuing a major in Finance. He first encountered CSR while taking classes on “Business and its Publics,” where he realized the potential benefits it has to offer.

In the Business Leaders Forum, he is in charge of looking for similar projects in foreign markets that can provide insight into BLF’s education projects. He is also actively pursuing opportunities to finance these education projects.

In his spare time, he enjoys working out, traveling, sports, and poker.

Why work in the BLF?

Working in BLF allows me to immerse myself in some of the core issues in the Czech Republic. It allows me to learn about CSR and apply it directly to education projects. It provides me with experience and an opportunity to promote responsible practices in business.
